String of Bananas

Original price was: ₹500.00.Current price is: ₹449.00.

Curio radicans, commonly known as String of Bananas, is native to the arid regions of South Africa and thus its a very drought-tolerant plant specie. This versatile plant features glossy, banana-shaped leaves with cascading vines.

Its vines grow pretty long up to 4-5 feet. It is thus perfect for hanging planters, vertical gardens, or cascading spaces.

It is full sun-loving and hence must be placed in open locations that receive nearly 6-7 hours of natural sun light. In its correct environment, the plant will outgrow the pot very fast. It is frost sensitive and thrives best in regions with consistently warm climates or as an indoor plant where temperature control ensures its well-being.

String of Bananas are low-maintenance succulent plants. All they require is direct sunlight and infrequent watering and hence an ideal plant for beginners. String of Bananas are all also known to improve indoor air quality and thus natural air-purifiers. It is an ideal plant for indoor decor setups that are naturally well-lit. Since they have a fast growth habitat, they can be mounted in open environment at boundaries to let them cascade from the boundary walls, giving a distinguishing look.

Good things about House Plants

PLANT TYPE

Sapling

A sapling is a young plant and will come in a smaller size. Why take a sapling? While it is wonderful to watch your little sapling grow, multiply and produce plantlets, take different color variations and forms till it fully matures, some of the saplings require extra care before it hardens and is full grown. While some others are absolutely hands free. If you are ready to give it all the care and love to admire the comparative growth patterns across plants, we suggest you go for a sapling.

Aged

An aged plant will come in a slightly bigger size than a sapling. While we say 'aged', it only means that once a sapling, is now a grown up and would require comparatively less attention than a sapling. If you have the anxiety about going wrong in the process or just cant wait to see a full grown foliage, we recomend you go for an aged plant. Ah ah !! dont get us wrong, age has no bar for plant, they are evergreen, have infinite growth potential and are renewable.
