Description

Blooms n Bough’s well-crafted succulent potting mix is ideal for succulent plants. Succulent plants’ potting mix ensures they receive the right balance of moisture, aeration, and nutrients necessary for their vitality and longevity. The Blooms n Bough ready to use potting mix for succulents typically consists of the following major components apart from small quantity of soil and coco peat:

  1. Gritty Material: Succulents thrive in soil that allows excess water to drain quickly. Gritty materials like perlite and coarse sand are used in the correct proportion, to enhance drainage and aeration in the soil mix. These materials also prevent compaction, ensuring sufficient airflow to the roots.
  2. Organic Matter: While succulents prefer fast-draining soil, a small amount of organic matter, such as compost or coconut coir, has also been added to the mix. This helps retain some moisture without causing waterlogging, providing a balance for the plants.
  3. Porous Substances: Our potting mix also includes substances like bark fines or crushed terracotta which can further improve aeration and drainage within the potting mix. These materials contribute to creating a loose, well-aerated medium that prevents water from pooling around the roots.

PLANT TYPE

Sapling

A sapling is a young plant and will come in a smaller size. Why take a sapling? While it is wonderful to watch your little sapling grow, multiply and produce plantlets, take different color variations and forms till it fully matures, some of the saplings require extra care before it hardens and is full grown. While some others are absolutely hands free. If you are ready to give it all the care and love to admire the comparative growth patterns across plants, we suggest you go for a sapling.

Aged

An aged plant will come in a slightly bigger size than a sapling. While we say 'aged', it only means that once a sapling, is now a grown up and would require comparatively less attention than a sapling. If you have the anxiety about going wrong in the process or just cant wait to see a full grown foliage, we recomend you go for an aged plant. Ah ah !! dont get us wrong, age has no bar for plant, they are evergreen, have infinite growth potential and are renewable.
